Jon Dwight joined Telluride Real Estate Corp. in 2002 bringing to the firm extensive experience in the real estate and development industries.

Before relocating to Telluride, Dwight was Business Development Director of Colorado First Construction Co., a commercial contractor based on the Front Range and responsible for $60 million in construction annually in the state.

Prior to his work with Colorado First Construction Co., Jon was Vice President of DCC North America, a Doppelmayr company in the United States, responsible for introducing automated people-mover systems to the U.S. marketplace. DCC North America built its first system in Las Vegas, Nevada — a $16 million system at the Mandalay Bay Resort. Jon has worked as a commercial real estate broker in San Diego, California for Flocke & Avoyer, a firm specializing in the sales and leasing of retail properties, and as assistant to the Director of Development for The Lido Group, owner of a waterfront retail development in Newport Beach, California.

Jon is a licensed pilot and President of Helio Aircraft,LLC,and serves as a volunteer on the Telluride Regional Airport and Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization Boards.

Living in a ski resort is nothing new to Jon who grew up in ski towns, such as Bear Valley in California and Aspen and Keystone in Colorado. Today, Jon has three children and lives on a ski trail in the Telluride Mountain Village. He spends his free time skiing and flying.
