Buzz moved to Aspen in 1976 fresh out of college with a marketing degree and a few years later, he met Mary, formerly a record industry marketing and promotions executive. Together Buzz & Mary formed a marketing and consulting business in Aspen and then jointly embarked on a real estate career. They moved to Telluride in 1990.

With 33 years of real estate sales and marketing experience in Telluride and Aspen, Buzz and Mary hold impressive transaction records with numerous record-setting sales to their credit. Buzz handles sales and holds the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and MRE (Masters in Real Estate) designations and has consistently maintained a multi-million dollar annual production. He has been recognized in both the state and the nation for his performance. Mary handles the balance of the business and together they organize the marketing. The team is rounded out by licensed assistant Sarah Stogner who is in her 10th year with Buzz & Mary and who has a degree in finance and follows her mother's footsteps at being an adept graphic designer.

Buzz hails from West Virginia, is a former ski professional and still loves to ski. Mary is from England and has a passion for deep sea fishing and together they fly fish in Telluride and deep sea fish in Baja,Mexico where they spend as much free time as possible. They love to travel, boat, cook, read and introduce clients to the relaxed lifestyle and premier properties of the Telluride region.
